Winning with the Word

We believe that there is only one true and living God; who has revealed Himself as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved to eternal life and the lost to everlasting damnation.  We believe in the imminent second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and the rapture of the believers into heavenly glory. ((Matthew 25:31-46, Daniel 12:1-2, Revelation 20:10-15, (Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ; the Son of God, the Son of Man, who dwelled among men, lived a sinless life, and was crucified on the Cross to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as atonement for all. He died and was buried, resurrected from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven and now is seated at the right hand of God (Matthew 1:23, Hebrews 2:14-15, Romans 8:34, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Mark 9:31, Romans 8:1).

We believe that the entire Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible word of God.  We believe that the word of God spoken and written in the Bible many years ago is as powerful today as it was then.  (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:16)

We believe in remembering the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross for all mankind by celebrating the Lord’s Supper; where we receive bread representing the body of Christ and wine representing his blood. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

We believe that for man to be saved, he MUST by faith, believe, accept and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive the regeneration of his spirit by the indwelling and sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit of God (Titus 3:4-7,  Ephesians 2:8)

We believe in divine healing made possible by the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross and that just as Jesus healed many when he was here on earth, there is still healing in his name today for he is the same yesterday, today and forever (Isaiah 53:4-5, James 5:14-17, 1 Peter 2:24, Hebrews 13:8)

The Holy Ghost is the power and presence of God with and in us now. The Holy Ghost stirs the heart of men to realize that they need a Savior.  He dwells in us and guides us, comforts us, helps us and prays for us.  He reveals the will of God to us and enables us to walk in it.  (John 14:16-17; John 15:26; John 16:13-14)

What We Believe

We believe in water baptism by immersion as obedience to the Lord’s command and an outward symbol of our death, burial and resurrection with the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38, Colossians 2:11-15)

We believe in the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit as written in the Bible.  They are:  word of knowledge; word of wisdom; prophecy; faith; healings; working of miracles; discerning of spirits; different kinds of tongues; interpretation of tongues. (1 Corinthians 12)
